Project Overview
This project showcases a beaded design I created using Houdini to visualize the bead patterns and optimize the material requirements. I designed a weave pattern and developed a instruction manual to guide crafters in recreating the design. After crafting a prototype, I launched the product on Etsy to share my passion for bead crafting with others.

Creative Process
1. Designing the Bead Pattern:
Created a Houdini tool to visualize patterns and calculate bead quantities.
2. Weave Pattern Creation:
Planned a clear and detailed weaving process for the design.
3. Instruction Manual Development:
Compiled a step-by-step guide with diagrams for all skill levels.
4. Production & Launch:
Brought the design to life and launched it as a product on Etsy for crafters to enjoy.
1. Designing the Bead Pattern:
Using Houdini, I built a custom tool to visualize bead designs in 3D. This tool helps experiment with patterns and calculates the exact number of beads for each color, making the design process efficient and accurate.
2. Weave Pattern Creation
I planned the bead placement and connections to create a clear, structured weave pattern. Every detail, from loops to rows, was designed to ensure the pattern is easy to follow and holds together securely.
3. Instruction Manual Development
For the instruction manual, I used Blender Grease Pencil to create 2D-style renders for each step, ensuring clear and easy-to-follow diagrams. This process really tested my organizational skills as I tracked each bead step, making sure the instructions were both beginner-friendly and detailed enough for experienced crafters to enjoy.
